Day 21 – chaos!

Hi gang!

Sorry but I was out sick yesterday (and was sick all weekend too!)  I think all the dust from that warehouse got into my lungs.  Yack!  No more shredding for me!

Anyway, back today and the whole place is in chaos.  Apparently it all started yesterday when A-Rod (Dave Axelrod) moved up his departure day.  I guess that got Barry very upset.  But today is reeeeally nuts because of the whole Korean thing…  I guess Northern Korea shot a missile at South Korea or something.

Well, the good news is I finally got an interesting assignment out of all of it:  “Research and write a short memo for the President’s Chief of Staff(!) on the history of the Korean war including which American President started it and whether it involved oil.”

Due tomorrow.  On it!

Day 16 – all day at a warehouse!

They sent us (Britney, me and two other interns) to some warehouse in Virginia to shred more documents!  We were there yesterday and all day today too.  We had to be escorted by Secret Service guys!  Very scary!  Got all this dust on my hands now.  Britney says she wants to quit!  I think we might be sent out there again tomorrow.  Keep you posted!

Day 14 – shredding day

Britney and I got a new assignment today: shredding!

This morning, Intern Bill came by with a pushcart with @ 15 boxes of documents on it and told us to get to it.  We’ve been at it since then and they keep bringing us more boxes! Ugh!

We’ve been given a short lunch break but then it’s back to more shredding!  What a great job!
